Hot Toddy

Tis is the time of year for hot toddy drinks. I should make some. I think it's been, oh...10 or more years since I've had a hot toddy. I'm not sure why. Especially since anything made with butter and ice cream HAS to be worth while.

Here's my recipe:

1/4 gallon (1 pint) vanilla ice cream
1 lb brown sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 lb softened butter or margarine

Blend all ingredients together and freeze. When ready to enjoy, mix 2 tbsp mix to 1 cup almost boiling water and 1 oz rum (or more or less).
